Issue: The Buy It Now feature is a scam.
Explanation: Ziinga’s Buy It Now feature is legit. Real people, bidders of Ziinga, take advantage of this feature to purchase a product that is currently up for bidding during the auction itself or 24 hours after the auction has ended.
Issue: The Bid Agent is a bidding bot that steals bidder’s money.
Explanation: Contrary to the issue raised, the Bid Agent is a special feature exclusive for registered Ziinga bidders.
Issue: At Ziinga, users are limited to two wins in 14 days.
Explanation: According to Ziinga’s FAQs, each bidder can only win in a maximum of two auctions every 14 days.
Issue: A lot of users were upset because Ziinga has made charges on their credit card without their approval.
Explanation: Ziinga will never post charges on the credit cards of its users without their consent.
Issue: Complaints have been posted by several people who have received SMS informing them that they have won an Apple product but they need to register to the URL provided. It turns out that the link would go directly to the Ziinga sign up page.
Explanation: For the record, Ziinga has not had an SMS campaign to promote its penny auction site. Should there be an initiative to do so, Ziinga will not mislead or trick people to sign up at the expense of another company. Investigations have been made and the results proved that the circulating SMS was made by another party beyond the knowledge of Ziinga.
Issue: Some bidders are not familiar with how the Maximum Price works.
Explanation: Ziinga sets a Maximum Price to ensure that the item in auction will not reach its current market value. There is a portion in the course of the auction where the item will be marked with MAX which means that the price will no longer go beyond that.
Issue: Some people wonder how the bidding process of Ziinga auctions differ from that of auction houses.
Explanation: As its name implies, auction prices at Ziinga increase by the penny each time the timer is reset. In auction houses, the next price depends on how much the next bidder can afford to pay for the item. It can be so high that no one can top off the offer. When that happens in an auction house, the bidding ends and the item is sold to the highest bidder.
Issue: Some users are annoyed with the way customer service representatives handled their concerns. According to some, chats were terminated when representatives could no longer counter their statements.
Explanation: Our Customer Service representatives were not only trained to handle complaints but they were also taught about how auctions take place. These will ensure that they can assist customers better.
Issue: Aside from too many personal identification requirements, users are not pleased with the way their shipment were processed. They were either delayed or the item ordered was not delivered at all.
Explanation: Products won in auctions are delivered to winners, in the shipping address that they have provided, within 2 weeks of receiving the payment. If attempts to make charges on a credit card failed, the customer will be notified immediately.
Issue: Some of the bidders argue that the duration of some of the auctions are undeniably long. The timer seems to have a glitch. Users do not approve of this as it affects their bidding budget negatively and it consumes much of their time.
Explanation: Items that are auctioned off in Ziinga have varying durations. Some products are open for bidding in 24 hours while some have been already starting for days.
